Dj, Producer, rapper, rocker, director, actor, author and activist…self-made independent musician & business owner! Building his vision and mastering his craft for decades. Traveled the world from Japan, Korea, Philippines Alabama, Georgia, California Cuba, Canada, Texas.

From his first rap group Gangsta 2 Productions to Major Playahz “19 NinetyPlayah Ha8te” featuring the underground classic “Liquor on The Curb”. He signed a solo deal in 1999 to light heavyweight boxing champion Roy Jones Jr.‘s label Body Head Ent. / Universal releasing his first solo album “Verbal Konkuzhionz” in 2000. Smackola then released “Black Zorro” on his independent label “Waay Foul Muzick” in 2002.

His electric stage show performances and presentation that looked like an arena concert on a smaller stage created a super buzz making him a stand out act.

“Your favorite rock band’s favorite rock band.” Dirty Wormz debuted their first album The Infektion in 2003 with the help of Vallejo. “Top Of The Food Chain” became an instant hit across the country gaining awards and an underground cult following called ‘Worm Headz”. Some follow-up projects include; The Re-infektion (2004), The Epidemic (2005), The Parazite (2006), The Uncontrolled Audio Experiment (2007), The Mass Metal Mix Slaughter (2008), Syndrome of the Al Qaeda Sand Spider (2009) Art Of The Blood Bath (2011), The Outbreak (2013), Welcome To Da Murda Show (2015) An anticipated final album which is prophesied in previous projects is set to be released in the year 2025.

Today their songs receive millions of streams on Spotify and more than 20 years later they still perform live and continue to bring high energy shows.

IMMORTALIZED ON THE EASTSIDE
Smackola is painted onto the infamous Chris Rogers mural located at the corner of 12th and Chicon in the heart of the Eastside Austin, Texas. This is where you can find the Austin icon on his Sunday Exclusive pop ups. His musical gift to the community pays tribute to the legends on the wall. His off the cuff DJ sets are truly motivational and inspiring! Such a scene draws other artists in for impromptu street jam sessions. Cars cruise by shouting “Smackola” and honking their horns. Some park to catch the best view, some walk up, dance, take pictures and buy merch. He signs autographs and enjoys chatting and sharing stories with the Austin community.

The living legend is still reaching new fans young and old, creating memories and smiles on people’s faces. Here is the latest from the greatest … Smacky’s Scratch School for kids launched in June 2023! Kids from all over get to experience the DJ craft on mobile turntables with the Dirty Wormz creator teaching the basic skills of DJing.

His Dj performances have taken him to Los Angeles, Sacramento, the Bay Area, Las Vegas and Kansas City Mo. Performing opening sets for Dj Heavy Hitters. The X-ecutioners, Rob Swift & Mista Sinista, Micheal Watts, Buck Rodgers, Talib Kweli , & Skratch Bastid, Smackola is also set to release his new album ICON on Vinly early 2025.
