Buda Beer and Polka Fest
Location: Buda City Park, 204 San Antonio St, Buda, TX 78610
On October 22nd, 2016 Buda City Park in downtown Buda will be the epicenter of Texas accordion music with the return of the Buda Beer and Polka Fest. The festival will bring together different genres of Texas music that feature the top accordion players in the state. Headlining on Saturday night will be the Texas Tornados featuring original members Augie Meyers and six-time grammy winner, Flaco Jimenez.
The Fest will feature local craft beers as well as other Texas favorites. To compliment the variety of music from Polka, Conjunto, Tex Mex, and Czech/German to Zydeco, an international food court will be set up offering Cajun, German, Mexican and, of course, Texas festival favorites.
While there, come visit Tony’s Tailgate Party. Besides catching up on the latest scores, Tony will be hosting several contests and tournaments throughout the day. Check the Tailgate section on this website for all the details.
Avoid the traffic and long lines in Austin that weekend and come to downtown Buda for your polka fix! Just south of Austin city limits and acres of free parking.

General Admission is $10 in advance, and $15 cash at the door
Children 12 & under are free with an adult

Headlining the Buda Beer and Polka Fest this year is the ultimate Tex-Mex super group, Texas Tornados. Come celebrate the legacy of Texas Tornados
featuring original members, Flaco Jimenez and Augie Meyers,
Speedy Sparks, Ernie Durawa, as well as Doug Sahm’s son,
Shawn Sahm leading the crew through a high energy Tex-Mex celebration of the band’s music which honors the late Doug Sahm with a tribute to Freddy Fender as well.
You’ll hear all of your Texas Tornados’ favorites.
